Switching Modes

  • Tap the Vision (V) button once to toggle sequentially through modes.

  • Long-press to enable or disable the laser pointer.

  • Mode preference is stored per session; reset on reboot.

Tips for Use

  • Use Edge/Thermal for interior navigation and search.

  • Switch to Thermal when tracking heat sources or victims.

  • Avoid over-reliance on the HUD; maintain situational awareness through direct observation and crew communication.

  • If the HUD image becomes white-out or distorted, allow 5–10 seconds for the camera to recalibrate as it adjusts from cool to hot environments.

Safety Reminder

  • Each mode is a tool for awareness, not a replacement for fundamentals.
  • Always confirm visual data with physical search and standard tactics.
