Vision Modes Explained

The C-THRU Navigator offers five vision modes designed for different conditions and personal preference.

Each mode combines thermal and edge-detection layers to enhance awareness in low-visibility environments.

Thermal	Full thermal view	Heavy smoke or zero visibility	Emphasizes heat contrast for locating fire or victims.

Edge/Hotspot	Edge outline with highlighted heat points	Hotspots, fire spread, overhaul	Hot items marked by colored overlay.
Triple Overlay	Edge + Thermal + Hotspot	Complex conditions	Full augmented composite for maximum detail.

Use Edge/Thermal for interior navigation and search.
Switch to Thermal when tracking heat sources or victims.
Avoid over-reliance on the HUD; maintain situational awareness through direct observation and crew communication.
If the HUD image becomes white-out or distorted, allow 5–10 seconds for the camera to recalibrate as it adjusts from cool to hot environments.

Wipe the HUD, projector, and camera lenses after every use. Keep the lenses dry, avoid abrasives, and store the device in a clean environment.
