Vision Modes Explained
Edge/Thermal, Thermal, Edge, Edge/Hotspot, Triple Overlay — when to use each.
Overview
The C-THRU Navigator offers five vision modes designed for different conditions and personal preference.
Each mode combines thermal and edge-detection layers to enhance awareness in low-visibility environments.

Switching Modes

Tap the Vision (V) button once to toggle sequentially through modes.

Long-press to enable or disable the laser pointer.

Mode preference is stored per session; reset on reboot.
Tips for Use

Use Edge/Thermal for interior navigation and search.

Switch to Thermal when tracking heat sources or victims.

Avoid over-reliance on the HUD; maintain situational awareness through direct observation and crew communication.

If the HUD image becomes white-out or distorted, allow 5–10 seconds for the camera to recalibrate as it adjusts from cool to hot environments.

Maintenance Note
