Using Forensics and Tactical Milestones
How to record, review, and analyze incidents.
Overview
The Forensics and Tactical Milestones features in the Command Console and Operations Center enable departments to review operations, extract lessons learned, and document training outcomes.
1. Forensics Mode
Forensics mode allows playback of incidents or training sessions recorded through the Command Console.
How to Access:

Open the C-THRU app.

Navigate to Forensics or Playback tab.

Select the desired incident.
-
Use playback controls to scrub through video feeds and events.
Capabilities:

Review individual Navigator video streams.
-
Toggle between multiple cameras.
-
View timestamps of all communications and alerts.
-
Export selected segments for training or AARs.
2. Tactical Milestones
Commanders can log key moments directly within an incident:

“Entry Made”
-
“Victim Located”
-
“Knockdown”
-
“Primary Search Complete”
-
“EVAC Issued”
-
“Incident Under Control”
These are visible in both live view and playback for contextual review.
How to Log a Milestone:

Tap Record Tactical Milestone.

Choose from preset options or enter custom text.
-
The milestone automatically syncs to the Operations Center.
3. Post-Incident Review (AAR)
After each incident or training evolution:

Open Operations Center → Incidents.

Select the event to review all feeds, milestones, and messages.
-
Conduct a Hot Wash using the recorded data.

Document lessons learned and submit feedback to Qwake via the integrated Help link.
4. Best Practices

Review Forensics within 24 hours for maximum recall accuracy.

Tag milestones consistently for performance tracking.

Encourage all crew members to participate in playback reviews.
