Navigator Setup and Operation

How to mount/dismount, power on/off, use VCN buttons, interpret taillights, and adjust HUD.

Overview

The C-THRU Navigator is the firefighter’s primary interface with the system.

It mounts directly to the helmet and provides live augmented vision, communication, and navigation through its Power Module (PM) and Vision Module (VM).

2. Mounting and Connection

  1. Place the helmet on a stable surface.

  2. Align the mounting posts on the Navigator with the helmet mount slots.

  3. Slide the Vision Module until you hear a secure click.

  4. Connect the USB-C cable between PM and VM.

  5. Confirm that taillights flash green/green — indicating proper connection.

Tip: Mount/dismount time should be under 20 seconds once trained.
