Getting Started with the Command Console
Login, create incident, attach resources, view feeds.
Overview
The C-THRU Command Console provides command officers and incident commanders with real-time visibility of crews, live video feeds, and communication tools.
It is the tactical hub of the C-THRU ecosystem — connecting the fireground to the command post.
1. System Requirements

Device: iPad (recommended: latest generation, 11” or 12.9”).

App: C-THRU Command Console app (latest version).

Network: Stable LTE or Wi-Fi connection.

Power: Fully charged or connected to a power source during incident use.
2. Logging In

Power on the tablet.

Open the C-THRU Command Console app.

Enter your assigned username and password.

Confirm connection to the Operations Center.

If offline, the console can still operate in local mode but won’t sync automatically.

3. Creating an Incident

Tap Create Incident.

Enter:

Incident Name
-
Location
-
Type (Incident / Training)
-

Define the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta sides of the structure.

Set entry and exit points for each team.
4. Attaching Resources

Tap Add Resource to link apparatus or personnel equipped with Navigators.

Assign devices by user or seat position.
-
Verify live video feeds populate in the carousel.

If not, tap the feed to reload.

5. Starting the Incident

Tap Begin Incident once all resources are attached and verified.

Monitor all active Navigators via their live feeds.

Use the map and camera view to maintain orientation and track crew progress.
6. Ending or Leaving an Incident

End Incident: closes the session and saves data to the Operations Center.

Leave Incident: allows you to exit without ending it for others.
Note: Always “End” after active operations to preserve all video and message logs.
7. Power Down

Logout of the app.

Power off the iPad or place it in standby.

Recharge the device for the next operation.
